Auto Expo 2020: Great Wall Motors Showcases Haval F5
Aside from showcasing the Haval H9 and the Vision Concept 2025 at the Auto Expo 2020, Haval is setting to enter the Indian market with yet another SUV: the Haval F5.
The Haval F5 is a compact crossver SUV that comes powered with a 1.5 liter inline 4 turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of producing 166 hp and 285 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated with a seven speed dual clutch transmission gearbox.
The front of the Haval F5 is fitted with a large blacked out grille that sports the HAVAL badge. There are automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and front and rear fog lamps. The rear is more traditional and muted, with a pair of taillights framing the hatch, and dual exhausts at the bottom.
Inside the F5, the interior is pretty conservative yet it still has an air of luxury around it. There is a three spoke, leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls that is connected to the 9 inch LCD touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also an 8 way powered driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, and dual zone climate controls.
Other features include voice recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and cruise control. Standard safety features include rear parking sensors and dual front airbags.
The Haval F5 is only one of the 13 vehicles that Great Wall Motors has on display at the Auto Expo 2020. Great Wall Motors Company Limited is a China based automobile manufacturer. It is China’s largest SUV and pickup truck manufacturer. The company sells their vehicles under the Haval and WEY brands. Although it isn’t clear yet when and if Haval is entering the highly competitive SUV market in India, but fans of their cars can’t wait to get their hands behind the wheel.
