Considered by many as a staple in the local utility van segment, the Hyundai Starex has been the vehicle of choice for many Filipino families looking for a modern and spacious carrier.

Locally, Hyundai offers the Grand Starex passenger van on its website in four variants. 

Across the board, all four models share the same dimensions. They measure 5,150mm long, 1,920mm wide, and 1,925mm tall. Ground clearance is at 190mm.

All models have dual sliding doors and a lift-type tailgate. They also have similar day-and-night rearview mirrors, fabric seats, and central door locks.

Likewise, all utility vans feature the same suspension setup, MacPhersons with coil springs at the front and a rigid axle five-link with coil spring system at the rear. They are coupled with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
