Grab Booking Gets Cancelled, Foreigner Sits on Hood
After having his Grab booking cancelled for arriving late at the pickup point, a Caucasian foreigner tried to keep his supposed ride from leaving by sitting on the hood.
In a video posted on Twitter, the foreigner can be seen trying to prevent the car from leaving. When the car began to move, the male foreigner sat on the hood, only getting off when the car started accelerating.
Even then, he managed to seize a door handle, and when the door failed to open, kicked the side of the vehicle.
The driver explained that there's a new @grabph policy re cancellations and no-shows. He didn't listen. We were already causing traffic, so driver tried to move, but this self-entitled man sat on the hood again! He eventually gave up, but managed to hit the car!!! 😱 pic.twitter.com/2ofXMAnkDu

According to the video uploader, the foreigner booked a GrabShare ride. The uploader, along with the driver, waited for five minutes, but the passenger was a no-show, and so the driver canceled the booking.
But as the driver began leaving the pickup point, which was at the Mercury Drug Mandaluyong branch on the corner of Domingo Guevara and EDSA, the foreigner suddenly appeared, demanding to be let in.
The driver explained that Grab has a maximum waiting time of three minutes for GrabShare passengers, and that the policy was stated in the notification that passengers receive when their booking has been accepted.
The foreigner wouldn't accept the explanation.
Grab Philippines issued a statement saying that the company does not tolerate the behavior of the unnamed foreigner. The ridesharing company said that it the foreigner’s account has already been suspended.
