Honda Cars PH Updates Mobilio, Jazz

Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI), Honda’s automobile unit in the Philippines, is on a roll as only a week after it has confirmed that it is now accepting reservations for the limited-to-100-units Honda Civic Type R, it is now selling updated versions of the Honda Mobilio compact MPV and the subcompact Honda Jazz hatchback.

The updated Honda Mobilio now sports a more dramatic front fascia thanks to the new grille and headlights, with the 1.5 E M/T and 1.5 V CVT variants equipped with a new Chrome grille and, for the 1.5 V CVT variant, newly-designed 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels while the range-topping 1.5 RS Navi variant comes with a new RS-design Gloss Black grille and newly-designed 15-inch RS-design aluminum alloy wheels. Inside, the 1.5 E M/T and 1.5 V CVT variants have a blue-illuminated instrument cluster with the latter also equipped now with a seven-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth hands-free telephone and audio streaming and USB connectivity and silver trim on the front air-condition vent panel "for a more premium touch." The 1.5 RS Navi variant though gets more upgraded interior bits like orange stitching on the black fabric seats, dark metal finish on the door panel armrest and front air-condition vent panel, an RS-design instrument cluster with orange illumination, integrated rear view camera with guidelines, Smart Entry with a Push-Button Start System, and paddle shifters for "an even sportier driving experience." In addition, all variants are now equipped with speed-sensing door locks  while, for added safety, the 1.5 RS Navi is now also equipped with Vehicle Stability and Hill Start Assist systems. The prices of the updated Honda Mobilio are:

As for the updated Honda Jazz, it has a new front grille, front and rear bumpers, new LED daytime running lights, and new alloy wheel designs on the 1.5 V CVT and 1.5 VX Navi CVT variants. All CVT-equipped variants--specifically the 1.5 V, 1.5 VX Navi, and 1.5 RS Navi--are now equipped with steering wheel audio controls and a seven-inch touchscreen audio system with USB input and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity for both audio streaming and phone functionality while a navigation system, multi-view reverse camera with guidelines, voice command, Miracast and Cube User intertace, HDMI connectivity, paddle shifters, cruise control, and speed-sensing door locks are now available for the 1.5 VX Navi CVT and 1.5 RS Navi CVT variants. As expected, the RS Navi variant now tops the range so Honda has fitted it with new LED headlights with daytime running lights, RS-design kits comprised of a tailgate spoiler, front bumper with fog lights, and rear bumper, front grille with RS emblem, side sill garnish, 16-inch Gloss Black aluminum alloy wheels, and Gloss Black side mirrors. The upgrades continue in the cabin with the addition of two front tweeters "for an improved audio experience," a new seat fabric design, and leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel and shift knob--all of which finished with orange stitching. The prices of the updated Honda Jazz are:
