Honda Cars PH Updates Mobilio, Jazz
Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI), Honda’s automobile unit in the Philippines, is on a roll as only a week after it has confirmed that it is now accepting reservations for the limited-to-100-units Honda Civic Type R, it is now selling updated versions of the Honda Mobilio compact MPV and the subcompact Honda Jazz hatchback.
The updated Honda Mobilio now sports a more dramatic front fascia thanks to the new grille and headlights, with the 1.5 E M/T and 1.5 V CVT variants equipped with a new Chrome grille and, for the 1.5 V CVT variant, newly-designed 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels while the range-topping 1.5 RS Navi variant comes with a new RS-design Gloss Black grille and newly-designed 15-inch RS-design aluminum alloy wheels.
Inside, the 1.5 E M/T and 1.5 V CVT variants have a blue-illuminated instrument cluster with the latter also equipped now with a seven-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth hands-free telephone and audio streaming and USB connectivity and silver trim on the front air-condition vent panel "for a more premium touch." The 1.5 RS Navi variant though gets more upgraded interior bits like orange stitching on the black fabric seats, dark metal finish on the door panel armrest and front air-condition vent panel, an RS-design instrument cluster with orange illumination, integrated rear view camera with guidelines, Smart Entry with a Push-Button Start System, and paddle shifters for "an even sportier driving experience."
In addition, all variants are now equipped with speed-sensing door locks while, for added safety, the 1.5 RS Navi is now also equipped with Vehicle Stability and Hill Start Assist systems.
