Hyundai PH Achieves Highest Monthly Sales To Date

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, has once again closed a month with a record-setting sales figures as it ended July with 3,594 units sold to reflect a 21 percent growth in comparison to the same period in 2016, pushing the company's year-to-date sales to 20,960 units--an eight percent growth from last year's 19,336 units--solidifying HARI's spot as the third best-selling brand in the local automotive industry. Continuing to lead HARI's Passenger Cars segment is the Hyundai Accent which sold 1,608 units, making up 45 percent of the company's total sales volume for the month and contributing to the segment's growth of 12 percent from 2,296 units sold in 2016 to 2,564 for 2017. For the Light Commercial Vehicles segment, the Hyundai H100 accounted for 287 units of the 1,030 vehicles sold for the month to reflect a year-on-year sales growth of 52 percent for the segment.
