Isuzu PH Brings Three Modernized PUVs at 2018 PhilAPEX
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) made an all-out effort to increase public awareness when it comes to its modernized Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs). The company brought three units of its modernized PUVs during the second Philippine Auto and Parts Expo (PhilAPEX), held last week at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The three modernized PUVs on display were designed and built by IPC's accredited body builders such as Centro, Alamazora Motor Corp., and Santarosa Motors. The said PUVs are Euro 4-compliant and are designed according to the Philippine National Standards.

Compared to traditional jeepneys, IPC's modernized PUVs comes with a more spacious interior. The entry and exit door for passengers is placed on the right-hand side instead on the rear. This will allow safer entry and exit point for passengers because the door is facing the sidewalk. IPC added that these modernized PUVs is equipped with panoramic windows and are persons-with-disabilities-friendly. The modernized PUVs further widens the gap to the traditional jeepneys through a bunch of toys installed inside the vehicle. It has LCD/LED TV monitors, electronic signages, and fire extinguishers. In addition, it is integrated with a GPS navigation system, CCTV, dashcam, back-up cameras, and an automatic fare collection system.
