In January,
Nissan Philippines (NPI) launched the Japanese carmaker's
Nismo high-performance brand locally by bringing in the Nissan GT-R Nismo. At the same event, NPI also introduced the four models it will update starting this month: the Nissan Urvan Premium S; the Nissan Juke N-Style; and the Nissan Patrol Royale. Now, we only mention three because NPI asked us not to disclose what the fourth vehicle is until February 8.
Well, since it's the 8th, then we can finally tell you what that is, and as you've undoubtedly surmised from the title, it's the
Nissan Navara that's been fitted with a 360-degree
Around View Monitor.
First seen on the Nissan Patrol Royale, whch was launched locally in 2010, the Around View Monitor (AVM) gives occupants an eagle's eye view of the vehicle's surroundings. This is achieved by placing cameras not only at the rear, but also in front in the grille and at the sides, which you'll find under the side mirror housing.
While NPI has yet to release the price of the updated Nissan Navara, do you think having an Around View Monitor is a worthy addition to its features?
