Are You Ready for Limited-Edition Aston Martin Sneakers?

Back in 2010, Aston Martin partnered with Nike to come up with the Nike Kobe Bryant "Aston Martin Edition" pack which is comprised of a pair of Nike Hyperdunk "Aston Martin DB9 Edition" and a pair of Nike Zoom Kobe V "Aston Martin Edition". Fast forward to 2017 and Aston Martin has partnered with another brand to come up with a very limited-edition run of a new pair of sneakers.

Befitting its status as a bespoke luxury carmaker, Aston Martin has teamed up with luxury footwear brand Hogan to create the 'Aston Martin x Hogan' luxury sneaker that will be available in four colorways and limited to just 3,000 pairs total. "Collaborating with brands that share our views on quality, style and elegance is important to us," said Aston Martin EVP & Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman. "Working with creative teams outside of the automotive industry helps to broaden our designers’ minds, and this is always a positive experience for both myself and my team at Gaydon. We take inspiration from all walks of life and our work with Hogan will help to shape and inspire many aspects of our future creations."

The 'Aston Martin x Hogan' sneaker is a combination of Aston Martin's modern aesthetics and Hogan's sophisticated Italian construction. Based on Hogan's 'Olympia' line of sneakers, the 'Aston Martin x Hogan' has a leather and nylon mesh upper with a design that's both casual and smart to give it a contemporary urban feel. The pair also makes use of detailing with Aston Martin’s artisan leather craft. The tongue, for example, is cut from Aston Martin’s classic kestrel tan leather with pinched seam detailing and has the signature Aston Martin 'wings' logo. "Hogan's attention to detail and passion for beautiful products, and Aston Martin's beautiful craftsmanship made this project a natural fit," said Hogan General Manager Sergio Azzolari. "It was a pleasure for us to collaborate on a shoe that reflects the attention to detailing in Aston Martin sports cars."
