Volkswagen PH to Stage 'VWorld Weekend' at Glorietta Activity Center

Volkswagen Philippines, the exclusive importer and distributor of the country's best-selling European car brand, will hold the VWorld Weekend on September 16 and 17 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. The German carmaker will showcase at the event the new Volkswagen Jetta that will be sold starting at P1.1 million with the Comfortline variant. The VWorld Weekend will also have on sale the Volkswagen Polo Hatchback at P858,000 and the iconic Volkswagen Beetle at P1.24 million. Also on display at the event will be the accessorized Beetle and the Polo Hatchback Club Edition. Special financing packages will be offered during the two-day event courtesy of BPI Family Savings Bank, the event's exclusive bank partner, and its BPI Auto Loans for faster loan processing. These sales offers include all-in down payment for as low as P80,000 and 0-percent interest for up to 60 months (5 years). BPI Family Savings Bank officers will be on hand to assist customers. The VWorld Weekend will also feature Volkswagen Philippines' award-winning Child Safety Initiative (CSI) through its Junior Driving Course. The Junior Driving Course is aimed at introducing early childhood road safety awareness to children ages 4 to 8 years old, while imparting important road safety habits to their parents. A 15-minute seminar for both parents and their children will be held, then the 50-square-meter Junior Driving Course simulating a road network complete with kiddie cars, tool kits and road signs will make the children learn, hands-on, the importance of road safety. At the end of the course, Junior Driver's Licenses will be issued to young CSI 'graduates.'
