Aggressive, powerhouse performer
The Tang is a hybrid car based on the S7. It sports a more modern design scheme and has a noticeably more aggressive front. The car is a sports-oriented SUV, courtesy its large 20-inch alloy wheels. The all-wheel-drive negotiates all terrains with ease. Some may feel disappointed with the lack of thunder from the electric engine, since the Tang is a powerhouse car. But once the fuel engine starts working, it’s all rumble on the road. The cabin is spacious and tastefully finished. With a claimed total output of 505bhp, the BYD Tang is surprisingly easy to handle than most of its competitors.
