Made to dominate the road with the latest expression of the Z spirit, the 2022 Z900 SE is Kawasaki’s latest entry in the supernaked bike category.

Kawasaki just dropped a video of the upcoming motorcycle on its official YouTube channel. You can check the short clip here

The newest member of the Z family is equipped with dedicated features that offer a focused yet sophisticated riding experience. A new look at the front end is achieved thanks to the addition of a new Brembo brake package.

Fitted on the front wheels are M4.32 radial-mount monobloc calipers acting on 300mm Brembo rotors using the same company’s brake pads fed by steel braided brake lines. The new brake setup not only contributes to a more aggressive look but also stronger stopping power, more precise control, and a greater feel.

Like the new Brembo brake package, the gold-colored front forks are also redesigned to give the 2022 Kawasaki Z900 SE an improved visual appeal while offering an enhanced riding feel. The 41mm high-grade front suspension features an inverted design and has compression and rebound adjustability plus stepless preload adjustment.

Kawasaki also paid as much attention to the 2022 Z900 SE’s rear-end as they did on the front. It shares the same rear suspension setup as its bigger brother, the Z1000 R edition, and boasts a new Öhlins S46 shock absorber.

Its aluminum body encompasses a single-tube construction with a large 46mm piston plus internal oil and gas chambers separated by a floating piston. The rear monoshock is also equipped with a remote pre-load adjuster.

The stock exhaust pipes have been tuned by KHI engineers to make sure that the new supernaked bike will both be seen and heard.

Kawasaki also gives the 2022 Z900 SE rider assist features like KTRC traction control with selectable power modes and an assist and slipper clutch. The instrument cluster features a useful Economical Riding Indicator and has the ability7 to connect to the rider’s smartphone using Bluetooth technology.

The 2022 Kawasaki Z900 SE will be made available in the European market in a distinctive Metallic Spark Black/Candy Lime Green colorway.

Release date, pricing, and the possibility of the supernaked bike reaching the ASEAN market are yet to be announced.
