MG Philippines has announced a new variant for the newly-unveiled Marvel R electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) at the recently-concluded 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.
According to the SAIC Motor Philippines-owned brand, the MG Marvel R all-wheel drive (AWD) packs more power, better torque, and an extended range.
To recall, the already-available standard MG Marvel R EV variant makes approximately 183 horsepower with 410 Newton-meters of torque. Speed peaks at 200 kilometers per hour.
It has a battery pack with a capacity of 70 kilowatt-hours and offers an estimated all-electric range of 402 kilometers.
Based on the abovementioned numbers, we can expect the upcoming AWD variant to be a competitive player in the electric vehicle (EV) SUV segment.
The MG Marvel R AWD will be priced at P2,888,888.
During the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, MG Philippines also displayed the standard MG Marvel R and the MG 4.
