New and Used Mazda Tribute for Sale Philippines 2017

Mazda Tribute for sale Philippines | Mazda Tribute price Philippines | Black Mazda Tribute

Many think that the Mazda Tribute added the word "sport" in sport utility vehicles. And many car lovers agree. This car's V6 engine was one of the first vehicles that offered dynamic performance and great handling that only the sportiest of compact SUVs can really offer--and successfully deliver. This vehicle is what we often recommend to people who want the versatility and ruggedness of a sports utility vehicle, but with the refined and on-road handling that car-based utilities can offer. The Mazda Tribute Philippines is a 5-door, 5-seater compact or midsize SUV that has been known for its solid design, practical packaging and agile handling. Its Japanese car manufacturer marketed it as “the Miata of SUVs” and for good reason -- it once had the most powerful V6 engine in its class.

The Mazda Tribute was first produced in 2001 and was offered with a front wheel and all-wheel drive format and had two engine choices: a Mazda’s 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine or Ford’s 3.0-liter V6 engine. Its first generation was offered until 2007 and the following year Mazda came up with its second generation that’s still offered in other markets such as Northern America. It arrived in the Philippines two years after the Ford Escape was launched, but was sadly discontinued in 2011. And while it may have been replaced by more modern X-project models from Mazda such as the Mazda CX-5, it did quite well while it was still in production. A lot of people notice that the Mazda Tribute and Ford Escape share a lot of things in common, and the reason is that Mazda and Ford worked together to develop the these two cars. Mechanically, the Tribute is the twin of the Ford Escape, which was also based on the same platform. However, the difference between the two is that Mazda has a sportier handling and more kit compared to the Ford Escape.

Car buyers in the country normally transition from owning a compact sedan to a midsize SUV to accommodate their growing family. Locally, the Tribute has competed with nameplates such as the Toyota Rav4, Nissan Pathfinder and the Honda CR-V. And if a new Mazda Tribute was still around, it would also go against the Kia Sorento, which is one of the most affordable midsize SUVs today.
