HARI brings modern PUV units to QC transport cooperative

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) bolstered its participation in the government efforts to modernize public utility vehicles in the country following its latest delivery of PUV units in Quezon City.

Over 32 units of HD50S Modern PUV Class 2 were turned over by HARI (through its Hyundai Trucks and Buses [HTB> Commonwealth dealership) to NOVADECI Transport Service Cooperative (NTSC), a subsidiary cooperative of the Novaliches Development Cooperative (NOVADECI).

NOVADECI Chair Leonisa Fausto expressed the group’s gratitude to Hyundai as well as other partners for making the project possible. She hopes that their initiative will serve as inspiration to the entire transport sector in the country.

Meanwhile, HTB Commonwealth assured of its team commitment to provide top service to maintain the road worthiness of the modern PUVs turned over to the group, and to extend support that demonstrates the Hyundai Trucks and Buses determination to be a "Partner in Every Way."

HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo lauded this latest development in their company’s effort to energize the country’s transport sector.

“Hyundai shall continue to take steps to help shape the future of mobility in the Philippines that shall move more people, especially our healthcare and economic frontliners, toward more opportunities that shall help enrich their livelihood and contribute to the greater agenda of economic stability.”

With HARI recently launching the HD48 GT Modern PUV, the company is confident that this new addition to their portfolio of people movers shall build on the current success that Hyundai has already established in the transport sector.

Since HARI has expressed intent over supporting the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) in 2017, the company has enjoyed a sizable gain in market share in the commercial vehicle industry.
