HARI turns over modern jeepney to cooperative in Antique

Hariphil Asia Resources Incorporated (HARI) announced that a Hyundai Class 3 Modern Public Utility Vehicle (MPUV) will soon ply the province of Antique.

Per the official distributor of Hyundai trucks and buses in the Philippines, it turned over a modern Hyundai jeepney to the Panay Land Transport Cooperative.

“The landmark achievement signifies a considerable stride towards the advancement of public transportation in the region, aligning with the objectives of the Philippine Modern Jeepney Program to enhance the commuter experience through safer, more comfortable, and environmentally sustainable vehicles,” HARI said in a press release.

Notable features of the Hyundai Class 3 MPUV include an all-front-facing seating configuration, speed limiters, and CCTV cameras. The modern people hauler also packs a Euro 4-compliant engine, which ensures eco-efficiency and cleaner travel for every commuter.

Its route is from Iloilo City Mohon Terminal to Culasi via San Jose, Antique.

The initiative was spearheaded by Panay Land Transport Cooperative General Manager Sampaguita Pring.

Pring — HARI noted — showed unwavering support for the modernization program by acquiring a Hyundai Modern Public Utility Vehicle (MPUV) Class 3 Model. Her commitment and forward thinking approach placed the cooperative at the forefront of the province’s journey towards transport modernization.

“We are honored to have our Hyundai MPUV Class 3 selected for this transformative project in Antique Province. This milestone reflects our shared commitment with Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. and Hyundai Truck and Bus Iloilo to deliver transportation solutions that are not only innovative but also aligned with the national vision for a greener and more efficient public transport system,” Pring stated.
