JD Power China IQS says Changan one of top 5 brands

Changan Auto continues to be one of the Top 5 brands in its home country, as reflected in a recent JD Power China Initial Quality Study (IQS).

In a statement issued by Changan Motor Philippines Incorporated (CMPI), the company noted that the Chinese automaker has consistently received the distinction of being the “highest-ranked Chinese domestic brand” since 2018.

Apart from the JD Power IQS result, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) in May 2023 also showed that Changan was among the top five best-selling brands in its domestic market after selling more than 510,000 units in the first five months of the year.

Additionally, it is also one of China’s top 10 best-selling new energy vehicle (NEV) brands as it garnered a total sales volume of 24,346 units for the same period.

“Once again, Changan Auto provides concrete proof of its vision for future-forward mobility. We at CMPI, together with our growing base of happy Changan owners, have products and service offerings that we are truly proud of. Expect more excellent product offerings from us before the year ends,” CMPI President and Chief Executive Officer Maria Fe Perez-Agudo said.
