After more than a year when Sojitz Fuso parted ways with Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, it seems being on its own works for the company.
For one, it is targeting to put up five dedicated dealerships by end of next year.
Right now, Marco Medina, vice president for Sales and Marketing Division of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation said that they are still utilizing Mitsubishi dealerships to sell and service its trucks.
"We are planning to put up dedicated dealerships to provide trucks and services that goes with it," Medina told CARMUDI PHILIPPINES in an interview.
Currently, Sojitz Fuso Philippines has three dealership--Diamond Fuso--Quezon Avenue, Best Southern Genesis Motors, Inc. Fuso--Kawit, and Carworld Fuso--Pampanga--and will soon open Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation, Fuso Lapu-Lapu in Cebu.
It was in June 2018 when Sojitz Corporation announced that it had divested its 49-percent stake in Mitsubishi Motors Philippines.
