Subaru to debut new ‘Wilderness’ model at NYIAS

The United States arm of Subaru announced that it will be unveiling the latest addition to its “Wilderness” lineup at the upcoming New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).

Scheduled to happen from April 5, the auto expo will play host to the new member of the “Wilderness” family, which now includes the Subaru Outback Wilderness and the Forester Wilderness.

There’s still very little clue as to what nameplate will next get the “Wilderness” treatment, but it is possible that the upcoming model will be a Subaru Crosstrek — also known as the XV here in the Philippines.

“Get ready for a new level of untamed Subaru capability as the newest member of the Wilderness family makes its debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 5. Watch as we reveal all the details on its off-road upgrades, trail-climbing power, and adventure-ready technology,” Subaru wrote on a page dedicated to the new “Wilderness” model.
