The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is an 800-Hp Topless Beauty
Italian-Argentian supercar maker Pagani has just released the Huayra Roadster BC, a convertible version of the famed sports car that’s not only more powerful, but more expensive than those that came before it.
At USD3.5 million (over PHP182 million), Pagani's latest convertible is easily the most expensive starting price for the Huayra BC ever. Considering that the Huayra Coupe BC is almost USD1 million (PHP52 million) cheaper, the convertible makes quite the leap in value, especially taking into account that they house the same engine in the guise of the AMG-tuned twin-turbo, 6.0-liter V12 that coaxes over 800hp and 1,050 Nm with its seven-speed single-clutch gearbox pairing.
The Roadster BC started life as a one-off project for one particular unnamed Pagani customer. For the price mentioned, the company expressed doubts about making more than one of these hardtop-removable racers. Thanks to well-placed teasers, a good number of customers let Pagani know that they wanted one, and so the company decided to build 40 of these roadsters.
