Zeekr adds 009 to PH lineup

MANILA: The all-new Zeekr 009 has officially entered the Philippine market.

In a statement, the Autohub Group-led vehicle importer shared that the electrified multi-purpose vehicle represents the marque’s “commitment to offer world-class mobility solutions” as it boasts a host of modern technologies and powertrain.

“Zeekr is committed to delivering a seamless electric vehicle ownership experience, not only through outstanding products, but also through superior customer service,” Zeekr Philippines General Manager Wayne Tee Ten said. 

 “With Autohub Group’s strong foundation and our strategic direction, we aim to become a key player in the country’s fast-emerging luxury EV (electric vehicle) market,” he added. 

These are what prospective buyers can have with the all-new Zeekr 009.

Exterior

The newest nameplate from the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group’s local arm tapes in at:

In terms of appearance, the vehicle comes with an overall boxy design that houses the following:

• Square-shaped grille with vertical slats
• Rectangular triple-projector LED headlamps with inverted U-shaped LED daytime running lamps
• Sliding doors
• Straight-cut window line
• 20-inch wheels
• Flat tailgate
• LED taillight bar
• roof-mounted spoiler 

Interior

Inside, the all-new Zeekr 009 features a roomy three-row cabin covered with mostly Nappa leather upholstery and soft-touch surfaces. Depending on the trim, the vehicle can be had six- or seven-seater configurations.

The top-level-trim has captain seats — with the second-row chairs endowed with massage function, power adjustability, and heated footrests.

It also has an automatic climate control system with several auxiliary control surfaces and vents spread around the cabin and a thermostatic refrigerator behind the front center console. 

Further, the all-new Zeekr 009 has large digital displays: a 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED display at the front and 17-inch 3K OLED touchscreen unit that can be tucked in car’s ceiling when not in use. These are controlled by Qualcomm 8295 chips and are mated to a 30-piece Yamaha audio system (in surround sound arrangement).

Powertrain

The new-energy-powered people carrier is powered by a pair of electric motors — in all-wheel-drive setup — that that can reportedly generate:

• Maximum output: 777 horsepower
• Peak torque: 810 Newton-meters

This churn allows the all-new offering to zoom 0-100 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds.

The electric mills are mated to a 108-kilowatt-hour battery that lets the vehicle cover 702 kilometers (based on China Light Duty Vehicle Test Cycle standards). It also has fast-charging capability of 560 kilowatts (kW) that can juice up the vehicle 10-80 percent in around 11 minutes. 

Assuring vehicle stability and controllability are the front and rear disc brakes and the dual-chamber air-suspension system.

The all-new Zeekr 009 carries a suite of modern automotive amenities that come in the form of:

On the other hand, its plethora of driver assistive system are:

• Automatic emergency braking
• Door opening warning
• Collision mitigation system rear

• Around-view monitor
• 360-degree interior monitoring
• 720-degree active warning system
• LiDAR system
• Drive fatigue monitoring

In the event of a road crash, the all-new Zeekr 009 can automatically unlock all of its doors as well as detect the vital signs (breathing and body movement) with the use of millimeter-wave radar systems. 

Variants, pricing

The all-new Zeekr 009 comes in two variations: Executive and Lounge. They are priced:

Zeekr Philippines announced that it is also offering the Lounge trim at a special introductory price of P3.999 million, together with exclusive downpayment terms. 

Additionally, the all-new Zeekr 009 is packaged with an eight-year battery warranty and a 24/7 emergency assistance service.
