The 2025 Aion ES gets leatherette seats. The dashboard’s top and door armrests gets soft-touch materials. Lower panels are of hard plastics. Styling cues include silver bezels on the steering wheel, centre console and door trims. There’s piano-black detailing around the central screen. The central console gets a rotary gear knob. The dashboard is dominated by a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The unit is connected to a multi-speaker audio system. Dual-zone automatic climate control with rear air vents are standard. The climate control is integrated into a slim touch panel below the infotainment screen. The hybrid digital-analogue instrument panel gets conventional twin dials that flank a small 3.5-inch screen. It’s readable and straightforward. The multifunction steering wheel gets buttons for audio and cruise control. There are cupholders, a covered cubby and a usable armrest bin in the cabin. The rear bench benefits from a flat floor. Boot capacity is competitive for the class.

The 2025 Aion ES measures 4,810 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,545 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The front gets a closed-off grille. The car comes with all-around LED lighting. The headlights are sharply styled and get follow-me-home function. The daytime running lights and turn indicators are integrated into the front lighting cluster. On the sides, the car sports a fairly conventional sedan silhouette but with EV design cues like minimal extrusions and smooth surfaces. The car runs on 17-inch wheels. The roofline slopes gently towards the rear. The car gets body-coloured door handles and mirrors. The taillights are a striking features that spans the width of the car. It gives a continuous light signature. The 2025 Aion ES gets a 450-litre boot space. The rear bumper design is clean with minimal clutter. The smooth surfaces indicate aerodynamic consideration.

The 2025 Aion ES offers a comfortable cabin experience. The seats get good support, along with six-way driver and four-way passenger adjustability. Ride comfort is balanced. The car is mounted on front MacPherson independent suspension and rear torsion-beam setup that cope well with urban road irregularities, leading to a refined riding. The bumps are nicely cushioned with minimal impact inside the cabin. The torsion beam rear means that the 2025 Aion ES isn’t as plush or composed over harder bumps and thuds. There’s a bit of body roll under aggressive cornering. Handling is surprisingly assured for its class. The well-balanced steering helps the car feel light and responsive, making it well-suited for daily commuting. 

The 2025 Aion ES is equipped with a single permanent magnetic synchronous motor that produces 135 PS/225 Nm. The motor is powered by a 55.2 kWh battery that returns an official mileage of 442 km. But real-world range tends toward 350km under mixed conditions. On highways, the 2025 Aion ES appears competent but lacks the sporty punch. The car can reach 0-100 kmph in about 12 seconds. The car tends to feel a bit unsettled above 120 kmph.

The 2025 Aion ES comes with a rear-view camera that’s complemented by rear parking sensors and radar modules. These detect obstacles during parking or reversing the car. The car gets a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control, antilock braking, and hill-hold-control. These are fed data by the radars/ultrasonic units in the chassis. The 2025 Aion E5 is equipped with a modest driver-assist suite. The car lacks full lane-keep assist or adaptive cruise control. But the basic suite offers decent everyday safety.

The 2025 Aion ES has a starting price of ₱1.358 million. The EV impresses with a refined performance, premium comfort, and advanced technology. The spacious cabin, smooth ride, and efficient range make the car ideal for both urban and long-distance driving. Though the Aion E5 is a new brand and yet to establish its presence, it’s a polished and future-ready car.
