Changan Nevo Q05 PHEV

The Changan Nevo Q05 PHEV features a minimalist cabin that offers a great mix of comfort, practicality, and functionality for everyone on board. Its interior layout’s build quality is actually impressive as well. Admittedly, this setup is more on the stiffer side of things. Hence, bumps and other road imperfections are quite noticeable inside the cabin, especially at high speeds. But, on the plus side, it can confidently pass through winding roads or sharp corners and offers great stability wherever it goes. Ultimately, the Nevo Q05 is very enjoyable to drive.

The Changan Nevo Q05 is powered by a hybrid powertrain that combines a single electric motor with a 1.5L petrol engine, producing a power output of 212 hp, a torque output of 330 Nm, and an outstanding comprehensive range of 1,215 km. Its electric motor is powered by an 18.4 kWh battery pack, which delivers a CLTC EV range of 115 km. Its powertrain is mated to Changan’s dedicated hybrid transmission system. This SUV utilizes a front-wheel drivetrain and is equipped with seven drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, BEV, HEV, REEV, and iEM.

The Nevo Q05’s hybrid powertrain offers instantaneous power delivery, allowing you to overtake slower vehicles with ease. You get plenty of power and torque on tap. And, even at high speeds, its cabin remains peaceful and quiet thanks to its soundproof glass and other premium sound deadening features. All in all, this SUV is a reliable daily city commuter and out-of-town traveller. 

The Changan Nevo Q05 model line comes with a dashcam, cruise control (adaptive for the higher-spec ID), and a 360-degree-view camera. The higher trim is also equipped with an autonomous emergency braking, traffic jam assist, front collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane change assist. This SUV utilizes front ventilated disc brakes and rear regular disc brakes.
