KG MOBILITY Tivoli Grand

The cabin of the 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand is reasonably spacious. The driving position is unusually high-set, even when the seat height is kept at its lowest. The car’s steering wheel is telescopic and tilt adjustable and the driver’s seat has to be manually reset to get the best reach. But even with the compromises, most drivers should be able to find a fairly comfortable driving position. The buttons and switches on the dashboard are easily reachable and clearly marked. A 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit dominates the dashboard. It comes with TomTom satellite navigation. The interior quality of the 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand is very basic.  Except for the soft-touch finish on some portions of the upper dashboard and gloss-black elements, the hard plastics look rather low-rent. That affects the look and feel of the cabin. All seats are of faux-leather.

The 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand looks nice for a crossover. It’s not outwardly stylish but manages to make a strong impression. The car sports angular and sharp lines on its body, in a far departure from the usual chisels and curves that’s quite typical among crossovers. KG Mobility has kept the front-end simple with just a small black grille with chrome accents and the company’s badge. The construction is solid and lends a sense of assurance to the buyer. The angles lend a broad shoulder to the crossover and it looks bigger than its real size. The 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand gets projector halogen headlights. The rear-end gets LED lights. The doors are fairly large for a crossover and allow easy entry and exit, particularly for senior citizens. 

The cabin itself is spacious, and five passengers can travel comfortably in the 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand. Accommodating three adults on the rear seat isn’t a problem even with the front seats pushed back to the maximum. The car’s boxy shape helps in providing enough headroom to the rear-seat occupants. The front seats have plenty of room for taller people, along with generous legroom and lots of headroom. The seats are comfortable and long distance travelling is not a problem. The car comes with 574 litres of boot space that’s among the biggest in class. Although the non-adjustable suspension soaks up most bumps, the car never feels truly settled. 

The entry-level 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand is equipped with a naturally aspirated, four-cylinder, 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 126 PS/160 Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed automatic with KG Mobility’s Smart Driving mode. Revving is hard and the engine isn’t much refined. The transmission too isn’t entirely seamless. But the Tivoli Grand still manages to offer a decent ride quality. Handling is easy and the car can turn sharp corners with little effort. The extended rear bodywork never affects the car’s handling. Low speed manoeuvrability is good as well. Cruise control is a sore miss though.

The 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand comes with multiple airbags, forward collision warning, active rollover protection, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane-keep assist, driver attention alert and hill descent control. The car has earned a four-star rating in European crash tests.

The 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand is affordably priced at ₱1.229 million. It’s a spacious crossover and has solid build quality. For those on a tight budget, the 2024 KG Mobility Tivoli Grand is a perfect car. Running cost is low and the car offers a nice mileage.
