BMW CE 02

The BMW CE 02 has a distinct modern look that is definitely eye-catching for fellow riders and bystanders alike. It can definitely make you stand out on the road. At the front, it sports BMW Motorrad’s latest LED technology, which consists of LED headlight, DRLs, and a turn indicator. It definitely has a strong flare, ensuring that the rider has maximum visibility while on the go, most especially at night. 

Riders are given access to a 3.5-inch micro TFT instrument panel, which displays relevant riding information in high resolution. The eParkourer can also be operated remotely through a BMW Motorrad basic connectivity. For an additional layer of functionality, this bike comes with a USB-C charging socket as a standard. Like the CE 04, its seat is more ideal for shorter leisure riding than long-distance trips. Although, it still provides decent cushioning and support for both the rider and the pillion.

In terms of dimensions, the BMW CE 02 measures 1,970 mm in length, 876 mm in width (above mirror), and 1,140 mm in height (above windshield). It has a 1,353 mm wheelbase and runs on a pair of 14-inch aluminum cast wheels.

The BMW CE 02 utilizes a suspension combination of an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and an adjustable shock absorber at the rear. Additionally, it has a fast charging time of 20% to 80% in just 1 hour and 40 minutes. It runs on a belt drive transmission system.

At first glance, its performance metrics might not be exciting, but the CE 02 is surprisingly quick and has a good pull. It can go from 0 to 50 kmph in just 3 seconds. Well, this is no longer surprising since it is a BMW Motorrad product after all. Overall, this eParkourer is engineered to effectively deliver an exhilarating riding experience without the intimidation factor that other people get from bigger bikes.

The BMW CE 02 is also safe to ride. Its front wheel is equipped with an anti-lock braking system. Like its cousin, the CE 04, it also comes with an electronic reverse gear, ensuring that the rider has worry-free maneuvering through traffic and narrow streets. In terms of braking, it utilizes a 239 mm hydraulic single disc brake with a 2-piston floating caliper at the front, while a 220 mm hydraulic single disc brake with 1-piston floating caliper at the rear.

Putting price aside, the BMW CE 02 stands out as a premium, emission-free ride that is beginner-friendly and perfect for everyday city use–from daily short-distance commutes to weekend cruises through local scenery.
