Bristol ADX 160

For a scooter, the Bristol ADX 160 carries a big bike-like aura and presence wherever it goes. It has a more subtle design than its cousin, the ADX 180, yet it still exudes an air of confidence on the road. Upfront, it has an ethereal glare courtesy of its LED projector headlights along with DRLs. It gets an adjustable windscreen, which would really come in handy when you are cruising at higher speeds on a windy day.

In terms of suspension, the Bristol ADX 160 comes with an Inverted Fork at the front, while a Dual Shock Absorber at the rear. The Bristol ADX 160 is powered by a 160-cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine that produces a maximum power output of 12 kW (16 hp) and a maximum torque of 14 Nm. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission gearbox. 

At first glance, its performance outputs might not induce excitement, but it is actually very torquey and smooth off the line. It can also handle steep roads out of town. And, if you want to use an adventure scooter as your daily ride in the city, then this one would be a right fit for you. It offers top-notch fuel efficiency even when you are riding in mixed conditions. Its claimed fuel consumption is an impressive 43 km per liter.

In terms of safety, the Bristol ADX 160 is equipped with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system and a traction control system. It also has side reflectors, a pass switch, and an engine check warning. This adventure scooter comes with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, which offer great stopping power even at high speeds.

In my opinion, the Bristol ADX 160 is among the locally-available adventure scooters that deliver the highest value for money. For its price, it is very feature-packed, practical for everyday use, and impressively capable off-road.
