Husqvarna FS 450

The Husqvarna FS 450 features a youthful, sporty look, which is accentuated by bright-coloured motorsport decals. This bike is given a lightweight steel frame that enhances its stability and maneuverability at high speeds, giving the rider more confidence and precision when hitting sharp turns or corners. 

At the front, it comes with very functional CNC machined triple clamps for increased stability, less vibration, better front-end feedback, and just a better riding experience overall. It has a very sharp-looking beak, which exudes immense boldness on the track. The rider is given a ProTaper handlebar that offers top-notch comfort and fatigue resistance during competition. Its saddle, though not the plushiest out there, provides great support even on longer races and/or leisure trips. Its 7.2 L fuel tank is concealed and effectively integrated into the bike’s body for maximum safety at all times.

On the side, it has an aluminum swingarm, which produces just the right amount of stiffness on the track. Meanwhile, its back end looks very high-performance courtesy of an exhaust system that features a ‘flow-designed resonance chamber’ and a silencer for better noise management while running at high speeds. 

The Husqvarna FS 450 measures 894 mm in seat height and 1,472 mm in wheelbase. It has a 281 mm ground clearance, which enables it to take on rocky terrains with ease. This Supermoto machine runs on a pair of Alpina spoked wheels (front: 16.5-inch, rear: 17-inch) that are strong yet lightweight.

In terms of suspension, the Husqvarna FS 450 utilizes WP XACT Closed Cartridge Ø 48 mm at the front, while a WP XACT Monoshock with linkage at the rear. This suspension setup allows this off-road bike to deliver exceptional grip and handling even on rocky and slippery tracks. Thanks to its front suspension, this bike offers top-notch protection against dirt, ensuring maximum performance even on prolonged rides. The Husqvarna FS 450 is powered by a 449.9 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a bore x stroke measurement of 95 x 63.4 mm. It runs on a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and produces a top speed of 172 kmph. 

Thanks to this bike’s quickshifter, the rider can enjoy very smooth gear changes when he or she upshifts while competing or just riding leisurely. This Supermoto offers a personalized power delivery courtesy of its two built-in engine maps–catering to the rider’s personal riding preference. Additionally, since its engine has a lightweight architecture, this bike delivers impeccable agility, responsiveness, and balance on the track.

Safety is not an issue for the Husqvarna FS 450. It comes with innovative electronic rider aids such as launch control, traction control, and the aforementioned two engine maps. It is also equipped with an hour meter, which notifies riders when the fuel level is becoming low, and an engine management system, which automatically shuts off the engine during a severe crash on the track.

In terms of braking, this off-road bike comes with front and rear Brembo brakes, which deliver an exceptional stopping force at high speeds. At the front, it is equipped with a 310 mm disc with a 4-piston, radially mounted monoblock caliper. Meanwhile, at the rear, it is given a 220 mm disc along with a single piston caliper.
