Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Overview
One of the latest motorcycles to join the lineup of Moto Morini, the new Seiemmezzo is the smallest neo-retro model in the lineup of the Italian bike maker. The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo is a middleweight scrambler introduced to take on the likes of other mid-capacity retro roadsters and promises a good essence of rawness in its combination of visual appeal and mechanical hardware. The new Moto Morini Seiemmezzo has been introduced in two basic colour options of white and black.

Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Design
For a dual-purpose-oriented scrambler, the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo has an impressive design, which looks raw and rugged, thus staying true to the original essence of a scrambler. The Seiemmezzo has a retro design, which unlike other retro motorcycles from Moto Morini, has got ample new-age features and design elements as well.
At the front, the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo too gets a rounded headlamp, just like other Moto Morini retro roadsters. However, here, the headlamp doesn’t look too basic and incorporates an LED projector inside and a rounded daytime running LED around its circumference. Even the slim and tiny turn indicators are all LED units. The large rounded headlamp, which is encased in a silver-finished housing, gets a small raked visor above it, which sits ahead of the instrument console.
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo looks very purposeful when viewed from the sides. The long curved fuel tank with pointy knee recesses looks very much inspired by the tank of the Moto Morini Milano. Then comes the single-piece curved seat, which is a suspended unit on the frame and sits above the sleek and small side panels.
The side panels of the motorcycle get thoughtful 6½ badges, indicating that this is a 650cc motorcycle. The bike gets a larger front wheel in comparison to the rear wheel, both of which are spoked units and match the overall dark theme of the motorcycle with their black finish. Even the entire engine and engine cowl have been finished in black.
The rear profile of the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo looks as if it belongs to a custom-made motorcycle, with a tiny LED tail lamp positioned behind the seat of the motorcycle. There is literally no tailpiece on the motorcycle, while the LED turn indicators and license plate are mounted on the small rear tyre hugger.
On the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo, you get a 5-inch full-TFT instrument console just like what you get in the Morini as well. With multiple display modes on offer, the instrument console shows an array of information including speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meters, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, gear indicator,c and a properly informative MID. The handlebar is mounted high, which gives a commanding riding posture to the rider.

Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Ride & Handling
For a middleweight motorcycle, the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo gets upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, both of which are fully adjustable for compression and rebound. The ride quality is slightly on a stiffer side, however, this stiffness gives it impressive levels of handling and quick manoeuvrability. The motorcycle rides on a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel shod with off-road spec tyres, which match the rugged appeal of the motorcycle. The bike is armed with dual 300mm discs at the front and a single 255mm disc at the rear.

Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Engine & Fuel Consumption
There is a reason why this motorcycle is called ‘Seiemmezzo’ – it literally means ‘six and a half' in Italian. This depicts the engine configuration of the motorcycle – the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo gets a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 649cc V-twin engine, which pumps around 48 bhp of maximum power output. For a motorcycle of this size, the power output is ample enough to give it a solid grunt at lower RPMs. This engine has been paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
-
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Braking & Safety
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo is equipped only with a dual-channel ABS as a part of the standard safety package. This makes it under-equipped when compared to other motorcycles of its class in terms of safety features.
-
Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Verdict
The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo scores full marks when it comes to visual appeal and mechanical hardware. The engine and chassis perform their tasks brilliantly to sync with the raw looks of the motorcycle. However, we would have liked to see more features to match its premium appeal and pricing.
