Chevrolet Sail Specs and Performance

There are three variants of the 2016 Chevrolet Sail in the Philippines, and are powered by either a 1.3-liter or 1.5-liter engine depending on the variant. The 1.3-liter DOHC, VVT engine can deliver a maximum power of 99 hp and a maximum torque of 127 Nm, and is linked to a five-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter DOHC, DVVT engine can produce a maximum output of 107 hp and a maximum torque of 141 Nm, and is linked to a four-speed automatic transmission with Active Select.

For its suspension system, the Chevrolet Sail has a MacPherson strut-type suspension and stabilizer bar for its front and a torsion beam non-independent suspension for the rear. Its brake system, on the other hand, is made up of a front disc brake, a rear drum brake, and a single rate brake booster.
