2018 Mazda Zoom Fest to Showcase New Models

Mazda Philippines once again livens up Father's Day weekend with its annual test drive showcase at the High Street in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig this coming June 15 to 17. Now on its fifth year, Zoom Fest brings together the full lineup of 2018 Mazda models along with special promotions that are sure to make purchasing a Mazda a worthwhile experience. "Zoom Fest has been a key touch point for Mazda and our customers over the past five years," shares Mazda Philippines President and CEO Steven Tan. "We know this weekend is special not only for fathers but for whole families as well and because of that, we always make it a point to come back here every year to showcase our award-winning models and give our customers a feature-filled display and test drive experience."

Experience Jinba Ittai

Mazda fans and customers will enjoy a unique insight into the brand's engineering culture and design heritage. Jinba Ittai, the horse and rider as one concept that underlies the whole lineup together, will be meticulously explained by brand masters for the appreciation of customers. This will allow the public to fully appreciate the intricacies of Mazda’s unique design preferences that make all its cars truly fun to drive.

Full 2018 Model Year Lineup

Aside from highlighting Mazda's Jinba Ittai philosophy in each and every model on display, this year's Zoom Fest will again be the venue to bring in new additions to the SKYACTIV model range.

Mazda2 Premium Series

New for 2018 is the Mazda2 Premium Series Java Edition, which introduces the new Titanium Flash color, and the soon-to-arrive Premium Series Katana Edition which radiates with the Mazda signature Machine Grey shade. Both variants add more maturity and class to the top-spec Mazda2 Premium Series line. Mazda’s all-new signature color, Soul Red Crystal, will now be the new Mazda2 Premium Series Crimson Edition signifying a bolder and more vibrant hue that is sure to make heads turn. Among the other new features in the Mazda2 for 2018 are the updated interiors, the shark fin antenna in the new Premium Series variants, and the new 15-inch alloy wheels for the entry-level manual transmission-equipped S variant. With the new Dark Cherry soft top canopy for the automatic transmission-equipped MX-5, Mazda further elevates the iconic sports car status of the two-seat roadster. And due to insistent public demand, the MX-5 RF with six-speed SKYACTIV manual transmission makes its debut at Zoom Fest. This latest variant of the much sought-after MX-5 caters to those who want to be more engaged in their drive while valuing the security of a retracting solid roof. Both these additions, along with a host of safety, comfort and handling improvements, ensure the desirability of the world’s most popular sports car for years to come.

Mazda CX-9 Sport Touring

Zoom Fest also sees the introduction of an all-new variant in the Mazda Crossover Series lineup. For 2018, the front-wheel drive CX-9 Sport Touring becomes the latest addition to the stylish and powerful seven-seater crossover nameplate. Complimenting the all-wheel drive CX-9 Grand Touring, and with a starting price of PHP2.35 million, this new model comes with the same 2.5-liter SKYACTIV Turbocharged engine that not only provides instantaneous power and lively performance, but also does so without penalizing fuel economy as compared to older generation six-cylinder engines. The CX-9 Sport Touring is differentiated by its dark silver 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamps. Standard premium features include leather interiors, power seats for both the driver and front passenger, and the MazdaConnect Information and Entertainment system with a six-speaker configuration. The Adaptive LED Headlamps, electric glass sunroof, power rear lift gate, 12-speaker Bose sound-system, Active Driving Display, auto dimming rear view mirrors and rear sunshade amenities shall remain solely in the CX-9 Grand Touring variant with a starting SRP of PHP2.83 million.

Owning a new Mazda will likewise be made easier at Zoom Fest. Customers who make a minimum PHP5,000 reservation during the event will have a chance to win raffle prizes and bring home unique merchandise from the all-new 2018 Mazda Collection. Prizes such as Shell fuel vouchers or additional discount vouchers valued from PHP10,000 up to PHP100,000 await lucky customers during the three-day display. They may use the cash vouchers as discounts in the purchase of their new Mazda vehicle until July 31, 2018. The 2018 Mazda Zoom Fest promises to be yet another spectacular showcase of the best models available from the premium Japanese brand.
