Autohub to distribute Deepal in PH

MANILA: Autohub will start distributing Deepal vehicles soon for the Philippine market.

Such a development is set to push through as Changan sub-brand formally appointed the multi-brand company to be its exclusive arm in the country following the inking of partnership held on January 14, 2025.

Spearheading the contract signing were executive from the Autohub Group namely Willy Tee Ten (President) and Mark Gabriel (Deepal Philippines general manager), as well as from Changan Auto Southeast Asia specifically Guan Xin (vice president), Leslie Wu (vice director), and Joel Villarin (country deputy chief).

The inclusion of the Deepal brand to its growing portfolio, Autohub Group said in a statement, bolsters its thrust towards next-generation mobility and increases its presence in the electrified vehicle space.

Aside from that, the firm said that introducing Deepal to the local market is aligned with its plan to introduce forward-looking automotive brands that respond to evolving consumer demand and increasing interest in sustainable transport options.

“Bringing Deepal to the Philippines is part of our commitment to offer the next generation of mobility solutions. We are focused on brands that combine innovation, sustainability, and relevance to the everyday lives of Filipino drivers. Deepal embodies all of that, and we are excited to introduce it to the market,” Tee Ten explained

To kick start its entry in the country, Deepal will unveil at least three models within the year. They are:

• S05 (in range extender and battery-powered variants)
• G318
• S07

Autohub Group revealed that the first two should be showcased soon while the last one is projected to arrive in the succeeding quarters of the year.

Further, the company announced that Deepal would join the 2026 Manila International Auto Show — where the brand’s local rollout and direction will be revealed.

Inchcape-led Changan Philippines announced earlier that it will reveal three models within 2026 that Carmudi Philippines assumed to be models under the Avatr and Deepal line.
