Baguio-based transport coop receives Hyundai modern PUV fleet

A transport cooperative in Baguio has received its fleet of Hyundai modern public utility vehicles (PUV) that will soon cover the roads of the country’s summer capital.

In a statement, Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) said that BAMAPCOM Entrepreneurs Multipurpose Cooperative has recently welcomed the 31 units of modern PUV during a formal turnover at BTRAMODA Terminal in Irisan, Baguio City.

The aforementioned number of vehicles are set to ply the Trancoville-Magsaysay Plaza-SM Baguio route.

“We are proud that our HD50S Modern PUV has met the power output demands of the area’s mountainous terrain. This is proof that our engine is best in class. And we thank our growing number of partners from Government and local communities for trusting in the safety, comfort, and reliability of the Hyundai Modern PUV,” HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo was quoted as saying.

Aside from HARI representatives, those who graced the event were officials from the local government, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Land Transportation Office, Land Bank of the Philippines.

The latest delivery of units in Baguio City adds to the more than 500 Hyundai Modern PUV handed over to various transport cooperatives across the country.

Last October, HARI successfully turned over a fleet of Modern PUVs to the Cebu South Bound Transport Service Corporation (CSB TSC).
