BMW Motorrad presents ConnectedRide Navigator

To accompany the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Com U1 launched last year, BMW’s motorcycle arm has presented the ConnectedRide Navigator.

According to the German two-wheeler brand, the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator features a very bright 5.5-inch touchscreen display, which ensures optimal readability, even in direct sunlight.

Here, motorcycle owners can plan and check routes and recordings, which are synchronized between the navigator and the BMW Motorrad app.

Further, BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator users can check the screen for real-time traffic information.

Both the maps and the functions of the navigator — BMW Motorrad said — are always kept up to date, as the device can be connected to the internet and can be updated at any time.

In addition, all smartphone functions and in particular media applications such as Spotify and telephone functions can be centrally operated and coordinated via the new BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator.

The hardware and software of the new BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator are compatible with all BMW motorcycles built from 2014 onwards (with restrictions), provided they have a multi-controller and if navigation preparation is already installed or has been retrofitted as part of the Original BMW Motorrad Accessories.

Per BMW Motorrad, the ConnectedRide Navigator is now available for purchase. It only needs to be clicked into the holder of the navigation preparation and locked with the motorcycle key.
