BMW to premiere 'pioneering' electric scooter on July 7

BMW Motorrad will celebrate the world premiere of a "pioneering, electric vehicle" on July 7. 

What could that vehicle be? Well, reports said that the motorcycle in BMW Motorrad's dark teaser photo is an electric scooter called the CE-04. The e-scooter is said to wear the design cues of the Vision DC Roadster concept from 2019. 

While BMW Motorrad didn't disclose the upcoming scooter's specs, other reports also predicted the specs could be similar to the existing BMW C Evolution. The C Evolution, in production since 2014, is a highway-capable scooter with a maximum speed of 130kph. 

This new scooter could be part of the BMW Group's plan, which is to have around two million fully electric vehicles worldwide by 2025.
