Changan PH ready to 'wow' crowd with holiday mall display

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is set to highlight various offerings on its latest activation starting tomorrow.

Through its “Wow Changan Grand Holiday Mall Display,” the Chinese automotive manufacturer’s local distributor will be showcasing the newly-launched Changan CS55 Plus, as well as its highly-sought siblings, the CS35 Plus and the Alsvin sedan.

The aforementioned vehicles can be scheduled a test drive at the following venues:

• November 17-23: SM Megamall, Mandaluyong
• December 1-7: SM Mall of Asia, Pasay
• December 15-18: Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

The public can learn more about the features of the recently-introduced Changan CS55 Plus, which is powered by a 1.5-liter Blue Core turbocharged gasoline direct inject (TGDi) engine that can deliver up to 185 horsepower (hp) and 300Nm of torque. The mill is mated to a seven-speed, wet-type shift-by-wire, Dual Clutch Transmission system.

The newest offering is heavy on technological advancements, thanks to its Changan Safe-Tech System making it vehicle one of the safest compact sport utility vehicles in the Philippines.

It also comes with voice control feature that can direct the vehicle to open or close the windows and sunroof, switch on the air-conditioning system, pick up calls and access the infotainment system.

Meanwhile, the smaller Changan CS35 Plus comes with a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline direct inject powertrain that dishes out a peak output of 160hp and 260Nm of torque. The vehicle is also equipped with 50 noise dampeners installed in 20 areas inside the cabin as part of its Deep Sea Silence technology.

Lastly, the Changan Alsvin guarantees space and leg room; powerful air-conditioning system with modern digital display; plush leather seats; easy connectivity; as well as a sunroof in the Platinum variant.

All the aforementioned models are packaged with Changan’s Vital 5 program that gives clients a five-year or 150,000-kilometer mileage warranty; Changan Pacesetter roadside assistance and towing service; Changan Fastlane’s 60-minute service guarantee with free preventive maintenance service labor for the first year or 20,000 kilometers (whichever comes first); Changan Veloservice where one can conveniently book a service appointment online; and quick and efficient assistance from CAIA, Changan’s AI Chatbot.

Aside from having low ownership costs, PMS is also convenient on Changan models as owners need to visit dealerships every six months or 10,000 kilometers at standardized prices.
