Here’s the all-new Changan Eado Plus in 8 images

MANILA: Inchcape Philippines has introduced the all-new Changan Eado Plus.

The newest nameplate in the Chinese automaker’s local roster is set to duke it out against the giants of the once-highly-competitive subcompact sedan category namely the Toyota Vios, Mitsubishi Mirage G4, and BYD Seal 5 DM-i with its numerous technologies and features.

Here are the features of the all-new Changan Eado Plus.

Vehicle specifications

 The all-new subcompact sedan offering from Changan is offered in two trims namely Lite and Luxe. Both variants are propelled by a four-banger, 1.5-liter gasoline engine that can produce churns of up to:

Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. 

Helping the electronic power steering system in ensuring stable ride and controllability are the suspension-and-brake combo made up of:

Brakes	Disc type (front and rear)

The all-new Changan Eado Plus overall modern look matches its three-dimensional grille and sharp halogen headlamp clusters with LED daytime running lamps. 

Its side profile is elegant with subtle character lines while the rear sports an aggressive look paired with a chrome-finished trunk door, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and a pair of LED taillights.

Other notable portions outside are the automatic headlamp on/off function, electronically-adjustable side mirrors with heating function, a fin-type antenna, and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels for the top-of-the-line variation.

Inside, the all-new Changan Eado Plus is tailored with black fabric upholstery and manually-adjustable front seats. 

The driver side gets a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a tilt-and-telescopic adjustable steering wheel, and a mechanical gear selector. Sitting at the center of the dashboard is the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It is mated to a four-speaker setup.

Other creature comforts that can be enjoyed in the all-new Changan Eado Plus are the following:

• 12-volt accessory outlet, and Type A USB ports
• Foldable second-row seats
• Electronic parking brake with auto hold
• Push-to-start button
• Remote engine start
• Smart entry

In terms of safety, the all-new Changan Eado Plus is equipped  with dual front airbags, side airbags, a reverse camera, tire pressure monitoring, an electronic stability program, hill-hold control, traction control, ISOFIX, brake assist, and child safety locks.
