Here's what's inside the Suzuki S-Presso

Soon after its release, the Suzuki S-Presso immediately gained a strong following with Filipino car buyers praising the high-riding hatch’s “so-called” sport utility vehicle (SUV)-like features. With many motorists showing interest in the Suzuki S-Presso, it’s high time we take a peek inside its cute cabin.

Here’s what one can find inside the Suzuki S-Presso.

Hard plastics aplenty

Granted the Suzuki S-Presso’s price point, which we will get to later, one would expect the small car to have plenty of inexpensive components. These come in the form of hard plastics which can be found all around the cabin, predominantly on the dashboard and on the door panels.

And while its hard plastic panels simply can't be compared to the soft and plush surfaces of more expensive vehicles, they also bring S-Presso owners some advantages. Things like longevity and straightforward cleaning are just some of the reasons that make the interior of the S-Presso more interesting.

Mini-like center console

The center console of the Suzuki S-Presso closely mimics the infotainment system found on Mini cars. The center console houses a standard seven-inch touchscreen multimedia unit with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

Surprisingly, the digital instrument cluster can also be found in this circular center console.

In the same center console are the controls for the front windows and the air conditioning.

Decent seats

The seats found on the Suzuki S-Presso are finished in a combination of vinyl and fabric. The front-row seats come with ample cushioning and enough bolstering on each side to keep the front-row passengers snug in both slow and fast driving situations.

The front-row seats are also slightly elevated giving the driver and the front passenger a good view of the road ahead.

At the rear are bench-type seats, also with decent cushioning. And thanks to the slight elevation of the front-row seats, the rear occupants get good knee and leg room allowing passengers at the back to stay comfortable in both short and long drives.

Good storage space

Inside the Suzuki S-Presso are several compartments namely the glove box, the open tray (under the glove box), one console pocket, two center console cup holders, a rear console pocket, and door pockets.

At the rear is a spacious 239-liter luggage compartment that comes standard with a tonneau cover. The bench-type rear seats can be folded down to free up more space.

Verdict

It’s not surprising to see why many local car buyers are impressed with the Suzuki S-Presso. Not only does the car have a decent interior, it also has an appealing price tag to boot.

Speaking of which, the Suzuki S-Presso is currently offered in two affordable variants: Suzuki S-Presso GL and Suzuki S-Presso Special Edition. They are priced at P563,000 and P588,000 respectively.
