Hongqi e-HS9, HQ9 join The Bellevue Manila's fleet

MANILA: Two Hongqi models are now part of The Bellevue Manila’s fleet that are ready to transport customers.

Following the agreement between Hongqi Philippines and the aforementioned hotel (signed last January 23), the Hongqi E-HS9 and HQ9 have joined the premium hotel’s fleet — ensuring a “composed and refined ride defined by spacious interiors, premium materials, and features suited for milestone occasions.”

Signing the contract were the following executives:

According to the Chinese premium automaker’s local distributor, the collaboration is also meant to push the marque’s local offerings being the premier luxury choice, “defined by experience, intention, and thoughtful service.

“Hongqi has always stood for luxury, where design, comfort, and experience come together seamlessly, and we are proud that this partnership allows us to push that philosophy further” President of EVOxTerra and TDG Group Co-Chief Executive Officer Rashid Delgado was quoted as saying.

Here are some bits about the Hongqi e-HS9 and HQ9.

E-HS9

The Hongqi E-HS9 is a three-row sport utility vehicle that measures:

Some of its unique exterior features are the two-tone body color and flashy welcome lights, hidden door handles, and a panoramic sunroof. Its cabin is fitted with electronically-adjustable leather seats (with ventilating and massage functions), air-conditioning system with PM 2.5 filter and an air-quality sensor, digital screen paired with up to 16 speakers, and wireless charging dock for mobile devices.

Under the vehicle are a pair of electric motors matched to a 99-kilowatt-hour energy bank that can provide:

Further, the Hongqi e-HS9 can be had in any of the three trims namely, Executive, Deluxe, and Flagship.

HQ9

Meanwhile, the Hongqi HQ9 is a luxury multi-purpose vehicle that has the following measurements:

Compared to the e-HS9, the Hongqi HQ9 is powered by a plug-in hybrid mill composed of a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 48-volt electric motor, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain setup can dish out as much as 248 hp and 380 Nm.

Its exterior comes with a distinct grille, wing of Hongqi greeting light, electronic sliding doors, power tailgate, and the logo lamp at the front. Its cabin comes with a heated multi-function steering wheel, 16.2-inch digital central display mated to a Dynaudio sound system (8-12 speakers), and captain seats with ottoman function at the middle row.

The Hongqi HQ9 comes in two variants: Comfortable and Deluxe.
