Jeep to Launch Scrambler Pickup at LA Auto Show
Jeep is planning to launch its much-anticipated Jeep Scrambler pickup truck at the Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of this month. Organizers of the show, which runs from November 30 to December 9, released a press kit mentioning that "a pickup truck from Jeep" is coming, and with no other pickup in the works for the American 4x4 vehicle manufacturer, industry analysts are concluding that it’s definitely the Scrambler.
The press kit identifies that 60 vehicles will be debuted by their respective car manufacturers, including an all-new vehicle from Hyundai, multiple vehicles from Kia, and the e-tron GT concept 4-door electric performance coupe from Audi. The Porsche 992-generation 911 will also be finally revealed.
That said, the Jeep Scrambler remains to be the upcoming launch that has generated the most buzz, sources say. These same sources expect the Jeep truck to come equipped with a Wrangler V6 and a turbo four-cylinder at its LA debut.
