Maserati GranCabrio prototype undergoes development testing

Maserati started the initial stages of development testing for the GranCabrio prototype. The car is seen roaming the streets of Modena donning a camouflaged exterior.

The Maserati GranCabrio is also reportedly being tested on the track to gather essential data for optimal final tuning.

“Maserati is innovative by nature and is looking ahead into the future. The new models are intended to launch the Folgore electric range, with which Maserati will set the benchmark in every market segment: each car in the range will be full-electric by 2030,” Maserati said in a press release.

The Maserati GranCabrio prototype will be the second car from the Trident brand’s stable to adopt a 100-percent electric solution. The first car is the Maserati GranTurismo.
