A fleet of brand-new Mitsubishi Strada units was recently delivered to the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) to boost the field operation efforts of the government agency.
Through dealer partner CT Citimotors, Makati, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) turned over 95 units of the Japanese automaker’s pickup truck, which will be “utilized as service vehicles of NIA officers that are tasked to monitor and evaluate the status of on-going projects and maintenance activities... Due to the tough terrains that the officers often encounter, a durable and reliable pick-up truck is much needed,” MMPC noted in a statement.
NIA Administrator Ricardo Visaya said that the latest purchase of vehicle is part of the efforts to modernize the agency. “With our newly purchased trucks, we are confident that we will be able to achieve better efficiency and improve our service to the country,” he was quoted as saying.
MMPC Sales and Marketing First Vice President Cecil Capacete assured that the product will be able to deliver the reliability the NIA is looking for.
“Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation would like to congratulate the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) for their 58th founding anniversary. It is an honor for our products to be selected as their official service vehicles for their field operations. We are confident that the Mitsubishi Strada will be able to deliver to the task required. We assure NIA that Mitsubishi Philippines and CT Citimotors Inc. will consistently provide the utmost support to all their vehicle service requirements.”
CT Citimotors Inc., Makati Assistant Vice President and Branch Head Ting Almendral echoed Capacete’s sentiments.
“Mitsubishi Motor-CT Citimotors Inc. is honored to have been awarded the fleet requirement of the National Irrigation Administration. Our partners can rest assure that our Mitsubishi Strada is a reliable pickup truck that can live up to their expectations. Also, we guarantee NIA that we will consistently provide excellent committed service for easy ownership experience,” Almendral said.
