PIMS 2018: Nissan Pulls Show-Stopper with 370Z Nismo

Nissan Philippines, Inc. has pulled a show-stopper at the 7th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) as it revealed the Nissan 370Z Nismo. The 370z Nismo looks sharp, aggressive, and ready to take on any track. Looking at the exterior alone, you could already tell that some Filipino car buyers already know where to spend their 13th month pay. The 370Z Nismo is fitted with aerodynamic body kits that helps improve the car's downforce and yield better air reduction. It is also fitted with blacked-out headlights, LED daytime running lights, and Nismo front bumpers. The rear gets Nismo kits as seen on the 370Z's spoiler and bumper. The 370Z Nismo is finished off with a set of 19-inch forged wheels. Inside, the car features Alcantara leather steering wheel, Nismo Recaro bucket seats, and red accents. The instrument cluster also gets a Nismo treatment.

Under the hood, the 370Z Nismo is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that delivers 350 hp and 374 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission. Nissan Philippines said that they decided to offer the 370z Nismo to the market due to the positive response to the GT-R Nismo. "We have definitely seen a lot of interest and positive response to the GT-R NISMO and we want to reach more Filipinos looking for more excitement in their cars through this latest offering of performance vehicles," said Nissan Philippines President and Managing Director Ramesh Narasimhan.

However, Nissan Philippines has yet to announce the availability of the 370Z Nismo. The company will also offer a regular 370Z version. As of this writing, the prices of both vehicles are yet to be confirmed by Nissan Philippines.
