Pioneer Heavy Trailers evolves with the demand of the times

Pioneer Heavy Trailers made sure they catch up with the demand of the times as the country slowly gains momentum in the business sector.

Under Pioneer Trucks (the same company that brought Dutch truck brand DAF [Van Doorne's Aanhangwagen Fabriek>), Pioneer Heavy Trailers is safeguarding customer satisfaction by meeting their needs in terms of body-building services and heavy trail manufacturing—from 10-foot closed van bodies to 50-Foot trailer wing-van boxes— to suit the needs of logistics and transportation companies.

Pioneer Heavy Trailers General Manager Noel Zingapan said that the initiative to innovate is within its corporate mantra.

“Innovation is one of the key points of our company which also had become our philosophy. Innovation is needed for everything from listening to our customers to our execution of these ideas,” Zingapan said.

Pioneer Heavy Trailers utilizes aluminum for the bodies that they are building as these are easy to clean and maintain, durable yet lightweight, and can maximize cargo capacity. Aside from that, individual panels make the boxes adjustable to a specific height and are easy to repair, while ensuring faster fabrication of parts.

They can be configured to the customer specifications—a side door, a wing box or a conventional rear door layout.

With help from strategic partnerships from various countries, local production facilities are built and assembled to keep them affordable, as they are built “by the Filipino, for the Filipino.”

“An important factor that we offer is the fast assembly of aluminum vans and cargo boxes due to our ISO-certified assembly equipment and trained personnel,” the company claimed.

“Everyone in Pioneer is determined to provide new ideas for product and manufacturing improvements and we believe in customer oriented approach,” they added.

As an example, Pioneer Heavy Trailers cited that they installed a set of JOST heavy parts and equipment such as axles, Tridem suspension kit, king pin, landing leg, PNW lighting systems and the Wheel Nut Indicators for safety for their Coca-Cola fleet.
