RidePH Celebrates 1st Anniversary with Philippine Moto Heritage Event
RidePH, a motorcycle-themed TV show hosted by award-winning TV journalist and CARMUDI MAGAZINE PHILIPPINES' Motorcycle Editor Jay Taruc, is celebrating its first year anniversary by organizing the Philippine Moto Heritage Weekend.
The said event is happening today, September 29 until tomorrow, September 30, at the Upper Deck of the Ortigas Technopoint in Pasig City.
The Philippine Moto Heritage Weekend features around 40 motorcycles and scooters, which are considered by many as the “best of the best” among restored and preserved stock vintage, classic, and antiques. These bikes are owned by notable collectors and restorers in the country, which will compete in the event.
The participant bikes will be judged by distinguished motorcycle and scooter experts such as Norty Alex Foo and Mohd Azmi from Malaysia, Stephen Cairns from Australia, and internationally acclaimed bike builder from the Philippines, Benjie Dompor.
Aside from vintage bikes, the event expects to attract all motorcycle enthusiasts and their families with booths, games, and prizes from motorcycle dealers and distributors. It will also have a swap-meet area for items and accessories, and a huge Heritage Wall exhibiting actual historical motorcycle pictures solicited from riders online.
In addition, the Moto Heritage event will feature talks and discussions about the local moto restoration scenes. Organizers said that they plan to hold this event annually. The Philippine Moto Heritage event opens its gates at 10 a.m. and the admission is free.
