Suzuki Philippines (SPH) closed the first half of 2017 with a
35 percent increase in sales, thanks to the successive openings of new dealerships and the increase in sales brought on by its new products for different markets.
Besides establishing 3S (sales, spare parts, and service) dealers in Ormoc and Tarlac, SPH opened
several satellite dealerships in key areas like Bonifacio Global City, SM Consolacion, SM Valenzuela, and Kalibo to support Suzuki customers in these areas.
For its vehicles, SPH saw the sales of the
Suzuki Ciaz subcompact sedan grow by
400 percent compared to the first half of 2016. Complementing the Ciaz's sales and also contributing to SPH's overall sales for the first half of 2017 are the seven-seater
Suzuki Ertiga MPV and the
Suzuki Jimny 4x4 subcompact SUV which saw their sales go up by
70 percent and
36 percent, respectively, over the first half of 2016.
"The milestones we have accomplished over the years, especially that of satisfying the need of Filipinos through our quality and fuel-efficient compact cars, indeed bring us joy and fulfillment," said SPH General Manager for Automobiles
Shuzo Hoshikura. "This is why we are constantly innovating so we can continue to deliver more improvements in our products and make Suzuki drivers happy."
