Suzuki releases PH-spec GSX-8T, GSX-8TT
MANILA: Following its global debut last July, Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) has introduced the all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT in the country.

Motorcycle details
The two naked sport motorcycles are fitted with the following:
- Cowl similar to the Suzuki GS1000
- Beefy looking fuel tank that can carry 16.5 liters of gasoline
- Neo-classic liveries
- Tapered aluminum handlebars with side mirrors
Both machines ride on cast aluminum wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires.
Its numerous amenities include:
- HY battEliiy P-series starter battery
- USB Type-C charging port
- Five-inch color TFT display
Powering the duo are the 776-cubic-centimeter parallel-twin, double overhead cam mill mated to with a six-speed transmission with shift-by-wire technology.
Providing stability, controllability and comfort are the tubular steel chassis, inverted KYB fork and a link-type rear suspension system, as well as dual front and a single rear disc braking system.
Ensuring that it cuts down fumes, the powertrain is outfitted with a dual-stage catalytic converter.
Complementing the engine’s capability is the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector that can provide three different power settings namely:
- Active: Gives the sharpest throttle response
- Basic: Dampens throttle response for more control
- Comfort: Softer throttle response, best for wet or slippery roads
Assuring safety for SPH’s latest two-wheelers are:
- Anti-lock braking
- Suzuki Traction Control System
- Suzuki Easy Start System
- Low RPM Assist Function
Those who want to immediately dress up any of the two newly-launched models can put optional accessories such as:
