VinFast PH unveils VF MPV7

MANILA: VinFast has expanded its lineup in the Philippines with the introduction of the VF MPV 7—the brand’s first seven-seater private vehicle in the country.

“The launch of the VF MPV 7 in the Philippines marks another step forward in VinFast’s global expansion strategy and demonstrates our long-term commitment to this market,” VinFast Southeast Asia Chief Executive Officer Antonio Zara said.

“With its spacious interior, strong performance, optimized operating costs, and sustainable ownership value, we believe the VF MPV 7 will serve as a comprehensive upgrade for Filipino families and set a new benchmark in the MPV segment,” he added. 

Aside from the formal unveiling, the Haiphong-headquartered marque has started the reservation period for the full-electric private multi-purpose vehicle until May 31 starting tomorrow (May 5).

Per VinFast, the launch bolsters its product portfolio in the country and reaffirms its commitment to making electric mobility more accessible.

Here’s are some bits of information about the VinFast VF MPV 7 in the Philippines.

 Sharing the same platform as the VinFast Limo Green, the MPV VF 7 tapes in at:

Sporting a modern design language, the VinFast VF MPV 7 wears the signature V-shaped daytime running lamps at the front complemented by 19-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle was also developed around the “golden ratio” characteristic of MPV models—with wheels pushed toward the corners to optimize cabin space.

Inside, the cabin has been maximized to offer space and practicality as it boasts leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and an automatic air-conditioning system. Cargo capacity can go up to 1,240 liters.

While it does not have an instrument cluster, the driver gets a 10.1-inch infotainment system and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Carmudi Philippines also assumes that the VinFast VF MPV 7 is equipped with cruise control, an electronic parking brake, and a camping mode function, which allows all its seats to be folded flat.

Powering the vehicle is an electric motor that can deliver churns of as much as:

The drivetrain is mated to a 60.13-kilowatt-hour battery that gives the vehicle a 450-kilometer fumes-free range (based on New European Driving Cycle Standards). The energy bank can be juiced up from 10 to 70 percent in around 30 seconds.

Available in White, Grey, and Jet Black, the pricing of the VinFast VF MPV 7 are:

Without battery subscription	P1.518 million
With battery subscription	P1.239 million

The monthly subscription fee are as follows:

Less than 2,000 kilometers	P2,700
More than 2,000 kilometers	P4,150

Further, the first 1,000 buyers of the all-new seven-seater will be given a one-year free battery subscription, with usage capped at 2,000 km per month.
