Volkswagen PH Welcomes 2018 with Golf GTS Highline

Volkswagen Philippines, the official importer and distributor of Volkswagen vehicles in the country, now offers the Volkswagen Golf GTS Highline variant to jumpstart 2018 for both Volkswagen fans and car enthusiasts alike. Since the Volkswagen Golf GTS was introduced in the Philippines in May 2017, the local market has warmly welcomed one of the German carmaker’s most successful brands. The Golf GTS (Grand Touring Sport) wagon body style carries the DNA of the original Golf, which has sold over 30 million units in seven generations of production, but offers 350 liters more cargo space than its hatchback version. The GTS wagon style is ideal for those who love the power and performance the Golf has been known for over the years, yet still value the comfort and space of a wagon. The Golf GTS Highline is powered by the 4-cylinder, in-line 2.0 TDI diesel engine mated to the six-speed DSG transmission system, and generates 148 hp at 3,500-4,000 rpm, and class-leading maximum torque of 340 Nm at 1,750-3,000 rpm. The electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering, 15-inch front ventilated and rear disc brakes, the struts and three-point wishbone with stabilizer front suspension and torsion beam rear (for the comfort yet ability to carry heavy cargo), add to the premium feel of the Golf GTS Highline ride. The Golf GTS Highline comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, and is feature-packed with the following: Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights; fog lamps with static cornering lights; front wiper with rain sensor; electrically-adjustable heated side mirrors with side turn lights; two-way power adjustable backrest and manual lumbar front seats; leather three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shift and multifunction display, radio and telephone controls; "Keyless-Go" entry/exit with Safelock; 6.5-inch Composition Media touchscreen; Infotainment system (radio, CD, MP3, Aux-in) with Bluetooth connectivity, App Connect, and voice control, and; Fender sound system with eight speakers and a subwoofer. The Golf GTS Highline is being offered at a starting price of P1.34 million until pre-excise tax stocks last. The available exterior colors are Black, Blue Silk, Night Blue Metallic, Platinum Grey, Pure White, Reflex Silver, Tornado Red, Tungsten Silver while interior colors are Titan Black and Beige.
