WATCH: Kia India announces Carens return, to make world debut on Dec. 16

Kia India has announced the return of the South Korean carmaker’s compact MPV that saw production from 1999 to 2018 and has spanned three generations. Kia’s Indian arm has uploaded a YouTube video on their official YouTube channel revealing the MPV’s silhouette as well as its global premiere date.

    The upcoming Carens would be the nameplate’s fourth-generation model and will be marketed in India as a recreational vehicle and can accommodate larger Indian families and will most likely have three rows with seven seats.

    Based on the shots of the Kia Carens on the short clip, the MPV will be wearing new headlamps, a more streamlined taillamp, a new Kia logo, a robust exterior, and a spacious interior.

    More details are expected to be revealed as the MPV makes its world debut on December 16 via a live stream on Kia India’s official YouTube channel.
