Yamaha Backs School Anew with Brigada Eskwela 2019

It's not all about producing and selling motorcycles, people.

Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. (YMPH) made sure its corporate social responsibility efforts are also put to play.

This as it gives back to the community by supporting its adopted schools in Southern Luzon.

Before the school year started, Yamaha provided handwash facilities, water tanks, pergolas, the creation of school canteens, rehabilitation of school stages, and pathway roofings to Tanauan City Integrated High School, San Bartolome Elementary School, Cuenca National High School, Bayorbor National High School, Lumbang Integrated National High School, Tangway Elementary School, and San Pioquinto Elementary School.

This year's objective encourage volunteerism among employees.

As a volunteer, they will be given a task to complete in every school such as gardening, cleaning, and painting.

Aside from this, the donation drive was implemented throughout YMPH’s offices. In span of a month, the drive accumulated hundreds of school supply donations wherein lots of children benefited.

This commitment in helping the children’s education led to the creation of facilities needed for each school. By means of improving the infrastructure, it will create more opportunities for both students and teachers in an environment more suited for education.

Further, Yamaha also donated raincoats to every child for incoming rainy season, and projectors and laptops for the school administration to improve their tools in teaching. The said donations  are eyed to benefit future batches as well, a long-term dedication to their education.

In its statement, the company expressed its commitment to the community

"Yamaha functions not just as a company dedicated in giving quality products and services among its customers, it is also a corporation that supports the Filipino community. Yamaha will continue this commitment for years to come to further enrich children’s lives across the Philippines, " it said in its statement.
