Paz — nicknamed “The Wonderboy” — didn’t have luck on his side either after being relegated to 36th place on the grid due to a long lap penalty. He salvaged this by fighting his way to 14th place, but race two dealt a devastating blow as Paz suffered a DNF (did not finish).

Nevertheless, the boys are up for a grand finale performance of their racing seasons. Paz’s FIM JRGP season will come to a close on October 31 in Valencia, Spain. Meanwhile, Mascardo and Mauricio will conclude their ARRC campaign for the season in Thailand on November 19-20.
